As someone who has been a Certified Real Estate Instructor for over a decade, I’ve enjoyed the challenges and rewards I’ve experienced as a teacher over the years.
Since becoming an Instructor in 2006, I’ve authored 5 separate clock hour courses ranging from Online Marketing to How to Blog. And I have taught over 600 classroom hours of training on these subjects as well as others.
It’s been one of the most fulfilling parts of my 20+ years in the Real Estate industry.

Why Become a Certified Real Estate Instructor?
When I first decided to become an instructor, my intentions were quite a bit different than you might think. At first, my reason for electing to do this was I thought adding “Certified Real Estate Instructor” would look good on my business card.
Making the choice to spend the 2 days and 15 clock hours turned out to be so much more!
Once I started teaching classes…and later, authoring my own material to teach, I found the feeling I got after a class to be quite enjoyable…some may know this as a “Runners High”. Reality was, I got such enjoyment and a feeling of satisfaction after every class, I couldn’t wait for the next one!
In more realistic terms, teaching and educating my peers in the real estate industry gave me a sense of purpose. Besides working on real estate transactions with many of the same folks I ended up instructing, I gained tons of confidence and later respect from those very peers!

I’ve been a licensed Real Estate Professional since 1998 becoming a Real Estate Managing Broker in 2003 when I started my first Real Estate Brokerage, Seattle Realty Group llc.
In 2006, I became a Designated Broker as well as a Certified Real Estate Instructor. During that time, I have authored 5 different Clock Hour classes and logged over 600 hours of live classroom training for countless Brokers throughout the State of Washington.
The training I attend along with the subjects I teach afford me great opportunity to master and implement many of the cutting edge tools, models and practices in my Real Estate practice.
